Janet is preparing to distribute her new CD “BACK WHERE I BELONG”. Juno and American Music Award winning singer/songwriter/actor/musician Alfie Zappacosta music produced the record which was recorded @ Wellesley Sound in Toronto. "BACK WHERE I BELONG" was mastered at MetalWorks in Toronto. Availability for retail and on-line purchase as well as the record release concert/party will be announced soon!

Janet is the Producer for the CD release concert of the "FIELD OF STARS – VOLUME 2" www.fieldsofstars.ca Script Lab / Northern River Publishing event on May 12, 2008 in Toronto. She sings two songs on the CD and will be performing. (www.scriptlab.ca)

The Charlottetown Festival 2008

Charlottetown Fringe Festival 2007 Co-writer/director
Presenting: "MY FIRST BRA: A TALE OF TWO TITTIES". Janet co-wrote and directed what started out as a stand-up piece turned one-woman showcase for singer/actor Catherine O'Brien. "MY FIRST BRA…" made it's 'work in progress' debut at the first Charlottetown Fringe Festival in September 2007 starring Catherine O'Brien with character support from Charlottetown Festival members Charlotte Moore (www.charlottemoore.ca) and Kristen Peace.

Canadian Musical Theatre Festival 2006 Producer/Company Manager/Actor
Toronto based Script Lab presented a unique Festival of Canadian Musical Theatre in November 2006. Janet was Producer and Company Manager for the full workshop presentation of Cathy Elliott's (www.cathyelliott.com) "FIREWEEDS" - a musical based on the amazing stories about women in the Yukon during the Gold Rush. Janet also played the role of Paula in this production.

"FEELING GOOD - The Cabaret" Director /Co-Creator/Co-Writer
In 2004, Shelley Hamilton was asked to present a show at the Halifax Fringe Festival. We decided to base her one woman show on her then newly released CD "Feeling Good". We co-wrote monologues based on her personal experiences to link the songs, and created a show that she will be able to book out for years to come. "Feeling Good" was featured at The Hamilton Fringe Festival summer 2006 to rave reviews.
